Workshop 5 Bathroom

This is one I had to come back to after I learned more about VRay. I'm glad I did because it came out just how I wanted it too. This is the type of bath I would like.

Workshop 4 Lamp

You always have to have a product shot. This was the easiest one to do but, also one of my favorites. Product shots allow you to really focus on one object and make it look amazing. I plan to do more of these since I created a stage that is usable for any model I want to showcase.

Workshop 3 T House Exterior

This was my first time making an exterior in 3DS Max. I really enjoyed it. I placed some planes in front of my sun light to create the shadows using some alpha'd out bitmaps of some trees. It added a great touch to the scene. I was also able to get a good alpha from max to keep the reflection on the glass but still have the trees in the background. Might come back to it at some point and play with the background a little bit.

Workshop 2 Bedroom

This was an interesting scene with a interesting camera angle. The glass can really up your render times but in the end it was worth it. First time utilizing the tile material. Once again click on the image and then open in a new tab to see it larger.

Workshop 1 Loft

This was the first workshop I did and I am pretty happy with the results! Now while I could easily model these pieces in the scene I did not since my focus here was on Vray. This scene was made in 3DS Max and all models were provided to me. As simple as it was to make the glass table I feel it really added a lot to the scene with the subtle reflection. To see it larger click on the image and then open it in a new tab.

Working on some new things!

So since I graduated from college I have been catching up on some things I put on the backburner in order to graduate on time. However, this has not stopped me from studying in the mean time. I have been practicing my lighting, rendering and texturing with some workshops from Markus Kuhlo and Enrico Egghart.  All of the workshops provided the models so I could focus on VRay.They will be posted here over the next couple of days.
